A gift here is never spent once.
Most donations are spent the year they arrive. A gift to the Harvey Foundation becomes permanent capital — invested with care, its income granted to frontline charities every year, for as long as the trust endures.
How a gift keeps giving.
Your gift joins the capital. Donations are added to the trust's invested portfolio, alongside two decades of careful stewardship.
The capital stays intact. We do not spend it down. Preserved capital is what makes the Foundation's giving perpetual rather than occasional.
The income is given away. Each year, investment earnings fund grants across our four areas — community, education, environment and health. In our latest reported year, the trust's revenue was $850,147, the majority applied to charitable purposes.
It repeats, forever. Next year, and the year after, and the year after that. One gift; generations of giving.

Other ways to partner
-
A gift in your will
A bequest to a perpetual trust is one of the few gifts that truly never stops giving. We would be honoured to discuss how a legacy can be structured.
-
Family or corporate giving
Families and businesses can make annual gifts that become part of the permanent capital — a named conversation with the trustees, not a transaction.

“The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The best time to give to a perpetual trust is any year at all.”With thanks to every donor since 2005
