Funding the people already doing the work.
No portals, no forty-page forms, no jargon. If your charity serves Australians in one of our four grant areas, a short honest email is how every Harvey Foundation grant has ever begun.
Before you write to us.
You are a registered Australian charity. We fund organisations, not individuals, and your ACNC registration (or clear charitable status) should be in order.
Your work fits a grant area. Community & wellbeing, education & opportunity, environment & land, or health & resilience. If it fits more than one, even better.
You are already doing the work. We back proven, frontline organisations — not concepts. Show us what you have done before you tell us what you dream of.
You value steady support. Our favourite grants are the ones we renew. If you are looking for a reliable, long-term funding relationship rather than a one-off splash, we will get along.
Three steps. No gatekeeping.
-
Write to us
Use the enquiry form below or email info@harveyfoundation.com.au. Tell us who you are, what you do, who you serve, and what a grant would make possible.
-
We talk
If your work fits, a trustee will arrange a conversation — a call or a visit. We ask about your community, your track record and your plans. You ask us anything.
-
The trustees decide
The board considers grant proposals at its regular meetings. Whatever the decision, you receive a clear, courteous answer — including when it is no.
Start your grant enquiry.
Complete what you can — rough figures and honest answers are fine at this stage. When you press send, your email app will open with everything pre-addressed to the trustees.
